The Boise community looks out for each other. As the holidays approach, we’ll be gathering even closer and reaching out to others in need.
In that spirit of community unity, the city of Boise is recruiting residents to spread some holiday joy and magic. Volunteers and donations are what’s needed for the city’s annual holiday shopping program, which is put on for underserved youth across the region.
There is a great need and we know you are prepared to step up for an incredible cause.
Here are the details: About 150 children who attended Boise Parks and Recreation’s after-school program and homeless shelter are all set to go on a shopping spree on Dec. 21. Each child will receive a gift card to purchase whatever is on his or her wish list.
