This month, Javier Andrade welcomed guests to his new location on W. Overland Road.

Since 2001, residents have enjoyed this customer-first restaurant, which opened its doors on Broadway Avenue before it moved to Overland in 2007.
The restaurant aims to give Idaho a taste of authentic food from the kitchen of the owner’s ancestors, a melding of subtle and powerful flavors.
Andrade’s offers both dine-in and takeout orders and a full menu of Michoacan-inspired Tex-Mex, such as enchiladas, tacos, burritos, steak, seafood and many other mouth-watering traditional favorites.
For seafood lovers, Andrade’s menu features shrimp atrapado, cocktail, tropical and Ixtapa dishes.
Taco aficionados will be happy to try one of the many meat options on the menu, such as barbacoa, Texano, carne asada, chorizo, papas and chorizo, lengua, carnitas, al cabron, and so many more.
Other favorites include the house enchiladas, one of the restaurant’s most authentic dishes, which is served with cotija cheese, special salsa, cabbage, tomatoes, cheese and other popular toppings and ingredients.
