It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and our community is ready to celebrate! While you’re filling up your calendar with holiday events, don’t forget to add these to your schedules.

Fourth Annual Christmas is Coming to Kleiner Park, November 16Bring the whole family for the annual kick-off to the holiday season at Kleiner Park Meridian. The annual event always delights with a local vendor and craft fair, scavenger hunt with prizes for kids, local food trucks on site and more.

Winter Wonderland Festival, November 22Indian Creek will be dazzling with nearly a million lights, and you’re invited to watch as the mayor flips the switch for the display. Bring the kids to visit Santa, shop local vendors, enjoy live entertainment and lace up your skates to take a spin on the ice rink. There will be something for everyone at this festive event.

Boise Holiday Parade, November 23Is it really the holiday season if the parade hasn’t come through town? Not officially! Join the former president of Boise State University, as he leads a marching band, live musical performers, jugglers and more. Arrive early to secure a spot along the main parade route.

Handmade Idaho Holiday Market, November 23Support local crafters and businesses while you cross off a few items on your holiday shopping list at the first-ever Handmade Idaho market. More than 50 local artists and DIYers will hold pop-up shops with a variety of handmade items.

Downtown Boise Holiday Tree Lighting, November 29Kick off the season by gathering downtown for a traditional tree-lighting ceremony with the mayor and his family. The community is invited to partake in Christmas caroling, candle lighting, seasonal snacks and refreshments. Bring your own candle holder to receive $1 off of admission.

Festival of Trees, November 27 – December 1Welcome the holiday season while you give back during this five-day holiday spectacular. The event kicks off with a black-tie gala and fashion show with models wearing looks from local clothiers. Throughout the event, get into the holiday spirit by visiting with Santa, checking out the North Pole Village, participating in a scavenger hunt and more. Get involved by volunteering or decorating a wreath to showcase at the event.
