We did it again! Boise claimed a top spot on yet another list, adding to the many reasons our region is a coveted place to call “home.”
Allstate Insurance ranked America’s drivers as part of their annual “America’s Best Drivers Report” and determined that Boise is No. 2 when it comes to having the safest drivers in the United States.
Using collision data from each city and state, the report found that the average driver in America gets into a collision every 10.57 years. However, in Boise, the average driver only gets into a collision every 13.65 years. This is the second year in a row that we’ve ranked high on the annual list. In last year’s report, Boise was named the third-safest city.
In addition to safe drivers, Boise residents enjoy many perks that make it an ideal place to live. In fact, Idaho was just named the top state to live thanks to factors like our incredible landscapes, clean air and affordable living. Additionally, our local economy is thriving with new businesses, eateries and entertainment venues popping up on a regular basis.
If you’re thinking about making the move to Idaho and will be purchasing real estate here, the first and most important step is always to meet with a lender you can trust who knows the area you’re looking to buy in. With low median property taxes and increasing home values, it’s both affordable and lucrative to purchase real estate in Idaho and you may be surprised by what you can afford here.
