It’s time to get revved up, Boise! The X Games qualifier, “Road to X Games,” is headed our way for the third year in a row, and the official schedule has just been announced.

The X-Games qualifier will be in Boise on Saturday, June 28 and Sunday, June 29.

Three events will be held at Rhodes Park: Men’s Skateboard, Women’s Skateboard and BMX Park, and the competition is expected to bring skaters and bikers from across the world. After the qualifiers, the top six athletes in the Men’s BMX and Men’s Skateboard divisions and the top four athletes from the Women’s Skateboard division will advance to the X Games to be held in Minneapolis.

In addition to the qualifier events, there will be a festival held throughout the weekend. The entire event is free, but tickets for bleacher seating will be available for purchase from the event website as the event gets closer. The event organizers are also looking for locals to participate in the event as volunteers for positions like bleacher monitoring and public information booths. Those interested in applying can fill out an application.

If you can’t make this year’s event, you can still partake in the action by catching the live stream on the X Games Facebook page and YouTube channel, or as part of ABC’s World of X Games coverage airing on July 6.
